I currently have a dental plan that does not cover braces. I would like to get them before my wedding. I came across Ameriplan USA on the Internet. It seems legit, but some of the reviews are bad. Does anyone know an insurance company that will cover orthodontics? Does anyone know any orthodontist in Bangalore offering the above mentioned braces ? Please help… I need to get braces quickly! My orthodontist said that I should wear my retainer for 15 hours a day (so basically from about 9 PM to 12 PM the next day) 7 days per week. However, I’ve been wearing it about 12 hours (12 to 12) a day for maybe 6 or sometimes 5 days per week. Is this a big deal or is it important that I wear it strictly as instructed? My orthodontist offered me $3000 for braces, and $3,700 for the new invisalign invisible braces…is that a good deal? what did you get charged? What happens from the point when you first go to your orthodontist to the point where you get your first aligners? What’s it like having your teeth scanned? Does anything before getting the aligners cause pain or discomfort, like the scanning or anything else? I’m 21 years old and I have two canine teeth, like vampire fangs, they stick way out and it’s gross. I don’t even smile. I used to have a “welfare” medical insurance in washington state.. and I went in to get it taken care of, and my dentist referred me to an orthodontist and they didn’t want to take care of it because they considered it “cosmetic”. (my parents didn’t want to help either.) Im planning on getting heath insurance in a year to afford major orthodontic surgery. On their best benefits package, they say 12 month waiting period and 2,500 liftime limit of orthodontics. Now my friend said they will cover the entire 15,000 surgery. How does that work? I was told i dont need them on for long….only 12months but Orthodontist charging me 5,500 is that alot or is that the actual price range they go? I am 19, I have been to orthodontist many times, but yea i ddint loose all my baby teeth until i was like 16 and it took them a while to come in. I am actually traveling all the time, and very involved in international business. I will be switching between USA and Brasil very frequently but I do want to get the whole teeth thing straighten before I am much older. I do not want the traditional metal braces, and since money is no barrier for me any kind of treatment would work that will provide the fastest and best results. Doctors are humans and I have read many doctors blogs some say its great, some say its horrible, its like when i am in miami the sun is good for you, get lots, when in NYC stay away it will kill you, so yea I would like a few reliable answers and be informed about any other kinds of treatments, retainers etc. |
