Ok, hopefully you now what I mean by wax… orthodontist wax…
My retainer is kinda scratching my tongue and it hurts, can I put some wax on it so it isn’t hurting? [my retainer looks like the invisalign thing]
Also, it is red ‘flavored’ wax or something, will it turn my retainer red, because the assistant said the blue and green listerine will turn it blue or green, so will this stuff turn it red?

I’m 17 and a senior in high school. I got braces in the 5th grade and they came off in the 8th grade. When they gave me my retainers, the top was Invisalign and the bottom was like a bumper guard. It ended up rotating one of my teeth. I wore them everyday so my dentist told me to take them off and had my orthodontist make me a new set. Does anyone know of any financial assistance for a kid who needs braces bad but cannot afford $6000.00 for them. My son has Florida kidcare but his dental insurance does not cover orthodontics. Any ideas? I’m going to the orthodontist tomorrow and trying to figure out which type of brace should i get. the gaps between my teeth aren’t that bad, and I don’t have an overbite or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions are to which braces would be more accurate and quicker? I need to get braces and wanted some input. Should I go for invisalign or opt for regular braces. The ortho said either would work for me. Also I live in LA, can anyone share how much they paid. The orthodontists I visited ranged from 6500 for regular braces to 7700 for invisalign but this seems really high thanks. Hi, I’m looking into Essix retainers, and I’m trying to get a price range on them before I pay $50 to an Orthodontist to tell me something that takes them 30 seconds to explain. I’m also interested in how much the impressions usually cost, because I’m going to need them for new retainers. My son is 14 and we are having a hard time finding help getting braces for him. They are expensive and I can’t travel far to get them as I have three younger kids at home. We used to use the Shriners but it got too difficult for me to go out of state. We’re in Missouri and it’s impossible to find an orthodontist that takes medicaid. My husband makes too much to qualify for assistance (there’s a program that pays for care and medicaid pays them back) but with a family of 6 and bills, we don’t have the money to pay cash. I’d like to know of a dental insurance company or something we could look into. He really needs this done for bone grafting. My orthodontist/doctor says that i need braces. I toldd him that i didn’t want braces, i was wondering if I could have invisaline. He said that it will only last a few years and then your teeth will go back to the way that they are now, my bottom and top rows of teeth are in different places and they need to be slided over. Is there any other way that i can correct my teeth or does anyone have advice for invisalign( if you have had it before). its the clear like invisalign ones and another thing i lost them friday night its now sunday and the orthodontist wont be in until monday.. will my teeth shift? |
