Orthodontics Defined
Orthodontics may be the specialty of dentistry that's concerned using the study and treatment of malocclusion (improper bites), which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both. Orthodontic therapy can focus on dental displacement only, or can deal using the control and modification of facial growth. In the latter case it is better defined as "dentofacial orthopedics". Orthodontic therapy can be carried out for purely aesthetic reasons with regards to improving the general appearance of patients' teeth. Nevertheless, you will find orthodontists who work on reconstructing the whole face rather than focusing exclusively on teeth. Therapy is also frequently prescribed for practical reasons for example providing the patient having a functionally improved bite (occlusion).
I believe that invisalign would work for you. your teeth just look spaced out with a few that are turned. Invisalign does not take that much longer than braces, they do the same thing as braces but there are a couple draw backs. 1) invisalign will be more expensive than traditional braces but as an adult you don’t notice invisalign like you would braces. 2) the orthodontist won’t be able to make slight changes with the invisalign like he/she can with traditional braces (that’s why it might take a little longer than braces). Invisalign should not get stained since you don’t eat or drink with them on (unlike braces where you have that problem IF you do the ceramic braces instead of metal.) invisalign is a plastic tray kinda like a mouth guard but much much thinner. you get a new tray every 4-6 weeks. how it works is that your dr. will take a mold of your teeth, send if off to the invisalign lab. they digitally map out where you teeth sould be every month then they make all the trays at once so there is no changing unless you go through the whole process again so you MUST keep your ortho appts and do everything the dr tells you. just FYI if you have a crossbite that won’t be able to fix that with invisalign. if you’re not sure about invislign you might want to think about doing ceramic braces. They are the traditional braces but the brackets are more clear/white so they blend better with your teeth and the metal wire that goes across your teeth comes in white or bone color as well, but you still have the bulk like traditional braces but you do have to worry about staining them with high pigment food i.e speghetti sauce, but it might only be a few $100 more overall where the invisalign might be double the price of regular braces.
Like one of the answerers said, Braces would work much better than Invisalign. Although, Invisalign would work for you. I had the option of Invisalign or braces and I took braces. Invisalign seems like a real pain in the butt; and I would have to wear them double the time I would have to with regular braces.
It’s up to you. Do what you are comfortable with.
Well your teeth aren’t bad.
But it doesn’t hurt to get them the way you want them.
I think you should get probably invisalign, because your teeth are actally really pretty, but invisalign will help with any crooked teeth.
And your case is pretty simple.
You would probably be in treatment for a year, which isn’t long compared to how long braces take.
braces! if you get invisalign it will take twice as long to make your teeth straight than getting braces. also if you get invisalign you cant eat/drink anything like tomato sauce, wine, ect. because it will stain, and make your teeth look messed up.
Both braces and Invisalign are effective, but if you have more serious problems, then I would go with braces. Invisalign is mostly for minor problems, like crooked teeth, not skeletal malcullision (spelling). I’ve also heard that Invisalign takes longer, too.
Invisalign will only help a bit and make a slight change
but braces will fully help your teeth
invisalign. It’ll just be better for you altogether.
I would get braces, they are a lot cheaper and seem like it may actually fix your teeth better.
those arent really crooked just spaced out, i wouldnt know but id get invislign especially if i was an adult
