Principles of Orthodontics. a what? I am doing research regarding coming a orthodontist. I am trying to figure out what exactly they do on a day to day basis and what kind of certificates or degrees do they need to get. Also what is the interpersonal relationships of the office and how would one go about achieving professional socialization to fit in to the office. I want to go into orthodontics and i’m about to graduate high school… i know i’m suppose to get a bachelors degree, then go to dental school and then do 2-3 years of training… but i don’t know what exactly i’m suppose to get a bachelors degree in. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments or is going through this… i really need help When do you take the DAT? When do you take the National Board or do you not have to take it? Also, what should you do after dental school? I read somewhere that you should take a Science of Orthodontics course but I read somewhere else that you should do residency? I don’t know. Also, do you need to take the College of Dentists Board examination? Sorry, a lot of questions but I really need to know. Thank you for reading and answering [: Here in UK - DOES USF IN TAMPA, FL HAVE A ORTHODONTISTRY SCHOOL? I was just wondering, if i went to school for dental assistant, if i’d have to do something extra or different to work in orthodontics? I asked the receptionist at my dentist office, but she was no help. Thanks! Does anybody know if Dental and Orthodontics schools have a program where their student will perform lower jaw surgery for free or a discounted rate? |
