I’ve been wearing clear ones on my upper teeth for more than a year. Yes, they can stain but just get used to drinking your kool aid with a straw and carry a toothbrush with you all the time. Another thing I use is a little brush that looks like a bottle brusher which really helps keep them clean looking-you can buy it at walmart or walgreens.
For the lowers, they had to use metal ones and I don’t like them. I prefer the clear ones but it’s all about what you want. Good luck with them!

Get the clear braces. The conventional ones are from the last century.

The clear ones that your talking about are nasty and everything shows up on them.
Metal ones are the way to go.

i had braces for 5 years. i had conventionnal. when i look back at pictures, its INSANLY apparent. yes clear turns yellowish, but if you take good good care of them, youll be much happier with clear. id go back and do clear anyday. your ortho is giving you a good price.
ps. you dont want ppl calling you metal mouth and all those color elastic bands, ugh, so 90′s. lol im 22, i know what im talking about.
    good luck xox

Depends on your profession. Conventional braces are more effective and cheaper. From http://drcaird.com

the clear braces get all messy, but if u brush them right, they look cool. i would go with the colored.
