Orthodontics Defined
Orthodontics may be the specialty of dentistry that's concerned using the study and treatment of malocclusion (improper bites), which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both. Orthodontic therapy can focus on dental displacement only, or can deal using the control and modification of facial growth. In the latter case it is better defined as "dentofacial orthopedics". Orthodontic therapy can be carried out for purely aesthetic reasons with regards to improving the general appearance of patients' teeth. Nevertheless, you will find orthodontists who work on reconstructing the whole face rather than focusing exclusively on teeth. Therapy is also frequently prescribed for practical reasons for example providing the patient having a functionally improved bite (occlusion).
Just try forcing it in… your teeth need it because since you haven’t been wearing it, they are out of place. It probably will hurt for a few days.
haha same thing happened to me i had this bulky bulky retainer and i never wore it so i would hurry up and try make it fit to go to ortho but it didnt work so i got there and he tryed forcing it to go in but i wouldnt he ended makeing a smaller metal one (i can still feel roof of my mouth) and he ended up cementing it in my mouth so i would say wear your retainer or else they might have to cement it in and its not cool i have to carry around tooth picks for when i eat i have to try and pick out the food eww!
yo have to do what you have to do because the longer you wait to wear it the longer you have to wear it because your dentist will know when you have been wearing it or not because your teeth go back to the way they were and then you have to get braces again
