I Just Got Wire Braces One Week Ago And They Are Still Sensitive N Achy. Will My Teeth Ever Stop Hurting!?

I had those Invisalign braces and they didnt work like they were supposed to, so my orthodontist put wire braces on me. It has been a lil over a week now and they are still really sensitive. I cant take a bite of anything i have to shove the food in the back of my mouth due to the soreness….
will it ever go away??
