Invisalign? Switching To Conventional Braces?

I currently have invisalign and I am getting frustrated taking out the trays to eat and also just having them in is annoying… and also my orthodontist had two back molars pulled to fix my overbite…my teeth were pretty much straight I just had a small overbite…I really would like to just get conventional braces put on! I feel like the invisalign is going soo slow…I was very confident until I got the invisalign…now I am concious about everything…talking eating etc. My question is…do you think my orthodontist would let me switch to conventional braces? If so would I have to pay for the invisalign and conventional braces? I have paid for part of the invisalign and am currently in treatment…

Your orthodontist is there to advise you on the best treatments, so ask them, they wont charge you for asking. I can tell you what I think but only your ortho knows what he thinks.
    Some points:
    Invisalign has its limits
You had 2 teeth removed for something that seems to not bother you, if so bad idea.
    In answer to your Q’s:
do you think my orthodontist would let me switch to conventional braces: its your body so they should not have a problem with this, just make sure this is a proper orthodontist as many amateurs think the can do ortho with invisalign
If so would I have to pay for the invisalign and conventional braces?: I’m sure you will be charged for the time required there may be an additional charge but probably reasonable for your comfort:
    any further Q’s e-mail them
