Orthodontics may be the specialty of dentistry that's concerned using the study and treatment of malocclusion (improper bites), which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both. They make all the trays at one time – but you have to be monitored. So the dentist will give you 2 sets of trays at each visit – so you have to go back every 4-6 weeks for the next 2 sets. All of those visits are included in the initial fee.
I believe you have to go back for new impressions so they will know how to make the trays to fit your teeth =)
