Invisible Braces?

I want to know how invisible braces works. NOT INVISALIGN!! invisible braces that the brackets look clear and white like this…http://www.braces.org/knowmore/types/ima…
and if you have experienced this how does it feel like? does it hurt when the orthodontist puts them on? what does the orthodontist do before they put the braces? how much does it cost? What are these braces good for? (ex: crooked teeth, seperated, crowded, or not straight.)
i’m getting mines soon until all my baby teeth and molars are pulled out. oh and last question, how does it feel when the molars pulled out?

  • Those are basically regular braces, except with clear rubber bands.
They are a little more expensive, because of the invisibility. Not much, but the price depends on the orthodontist. The orthodontist usually makes you brush your teeth, clean your teeth, take impressions, and that’s about it before the braces go on. They are good for every problem you might have, just like regular braces. It does not hurt when they put them on, but it doe a few hours late. not much, but a little. It feels weird and funny, like you are wearing a mouth guard or something, but you get used to it. And finally, you don’t feel anything, just a little pressure. But you do HEAR a rip when they pull it out, but you so out of it, it doesn’t really scare you. Afterwards, it feels funny, especially when you still numb, and when you eat. It’s really hard to eat if you have 2 or more taken out. And it’s a little painful, but okay, it will go away.
    Good luck!

  • These types of braces are no different than metal braces. They are made of a clear ceramic material that can be more delicate and easier to stain. If you have brushing problems braces may not be such a good idea; especially the ceramic ones.
