Invisalign is expensive and not for everyone. Is your dentist doing it or an orthodontist? I would only have ortho done by an orthodontist, not a general dentist! You can always get a second or third opinion and estimate. If you have the xrays (your dentist has to provide a copy) you can go for a consult at an orthodontist and find out for sure if Invisalign is for you.

I’ve heard they are pretty expensive…more than regular braces. However, that does seem like a lot. If you think that’s too much, maybe you could check with another orthodontist and see if they will give you the same price quote. I think on the invisalign website though, it does say that they can be as much as $5,000 or maybe more…but I don’t remember exactly. Anyway, I guess it all depends on location, the shape your teeth are in now, and some other factors….
No, Invisalign is pretty pricey.
