Orthodonitc Advice From Orthodontists/dentists Out There Please!!?

hello, so i’m 19 and think i have to get braces AGAIN!! (((
this is for an overjet (3 mm), and so i have to have 2 teeth from the top row removed and my teeth have to be pushed back
i want to know, can i use lingual braces for this (braces in the back of the teeth)? my orthodontist said something like it’ll take longer and they aren’t as effective, and so the results won’t be as good as they would be with trasitional braces, is this true???? i reallllllyyyyy don’t want to have regular braces again, would this work, i need a second opinion from orthodontists!!
(he said invisalign won’t work, so… yeah… i think this is my only hope)

  If I was asked for my opinion, I would also agree that lingual braces are no where near as effect or speedy as traditional braces. They tend to break a lot more, are WAY more uncomfortable, and are so much harder to clean. I would assume they cost a lot more as well.
  The good news is, usually the 2nd time around, braces work quite a bit faster.
