My boys are in desperate need of braces. It isn’t for cosmetic reasons, they both have severe alignment issues that are affecting the growth of their jaws and inhibiting the eruption of permanent teeth.
Our dental insurance does not cover braces and their father is not willing to help pay for his portion…regardless of the circumstances.
I could eventually get some money out of him through social services however, the whole bill is going into my name and they won’t try to collect from him directly.
There isn’t I wouldn’t do for my kids and if I could afford to do it on my own I would but $9-10K is really alot of money for me right now. I would be able to pay $1000.00 out of my own pocket to help for the expense. I’m looking for some good samartian or philantropist (I’ve looked on the web and am not finding any luck finding a source) who would be willing to help me pay for this.
I’m only looking for responses from people who are willing to point me in the right direction to get funding and help my children.
I’m not a deadbeat, I work full time and would work another job to help pay for it but I have my kids 100% of the time.

If your kids are having a severe ailment and the braces can be shown to bne non cosmetic reasons and you can prove it the dental association in your state can help, they will have access to childrens hospitals with dental clinics composed of dental teams, so contact your state dental association and let them know what is happening and then be ready to prove your case.
