When it comes to orthodontic procedures which are intended to correct the position of the teeth to achieve a proper occlusion the use of keys is the option number one between the orthodontists and patients alike. The fact that the metal brackets are the weapon “of choice” does not necessarily mean they are the best tools for the job, as many people may remember metal braces can have several drawbacks, certainly not are very aesthetic, they are difficult to clean and remove them is not as fácil.Afortunadamente for most adolescents and adults who are required to use the brakes, there is no other solution that offers the same benefits as metal brackets on braces provide without being a cosmetic hindrance, this option called Invisalign. As its name indicates, Invisalign clear aligners are custom made not to impose on hardware devices to implement the correct pressure and changing the position of the teeth are , let’s take a look at some of the benefits of this type of alignment to provide. Virtually invisibleUna of the most common concerns among teenagers and adults who care about their physical appearance is no doubt that the brackets can get in the way of your beautiful smile and as we have said, metal braces are very noticeable. Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible so nobody will notice that in fact you’re wearing them unless you can remove the diga.Se fácilmenteSiempre need to eat, brush or floss is able to do so because Invisalign aligners are easy to remove so do not get in the way of your meals and / or affect their hygiene oral.No discursoA Unlike these metallic devices licos invisible aligners are not as thick so it will not stand in the way when it comes to speak clearly, this is obviously a great advantage because for most people to start using metal braces have to wait a certain amount of time (adjustment period) to get used to these thick contraptions in order to start speaking clearly once again.

It’s Thursday night and I believe I lost them yesterday at school. These are the last aligners before getting my final retainers. I’m actually pretty much done but still had to wear them because I have an implant crown that needs to be replaced before getting the final retainer.
I have no contact with my orthodontist until Monday. His office is closed tomorrow. I’ll only be able to see him Monday but the thing is, I feel I really need something to keep my teeth in line before Monday comes along. I know, from experience, that if I don’t wear my aligners for more than one day, my teeth do shift a little (I notice this because when I put my aligners back in, I feel the pressure).
I need something to retain my bite. I have a really nice general dentist. You think I can have her make me a retainer (I’m willing to pay whatever).
I’m just so worried. Advice?

Anyone who has used Orthoclear or Invisalign, I would like to know if I can use OTC bleaching gels in my aligners? Would a dentist or orthodontist recommend this?

Orthodontics Defined Orthodontics may be the specialty of dentistry that's concerned using the study and treatment of malocclusion (improper bites), which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both. Orthodontic therapy can focus on dental displacement only, or can deal using the control and modification of facial growth. In the latter case it is better defined as "dentofacial orthopedics". Orthodontic therapy can be carried out for purely aesthetic reasons with regards to improving the general appearance of patients' teeth. Nevertheless, you will find orthodontists who work on reconstructing the whole face rather than focusing exclusively on teeth. Therapy is also frequently prescribed for practical reasons for example providing the patient having a functionally improved bite (occlusion).
