Braces Alternatives?

I’d like to know alternatives to traditional braces. I’m twelve, have Medicaid insurance (doesn’t cover the full cost of regular braces anyway) and here are my dental problems:
-My top left (my view) incisor grew in front of my other teeth and the tooth to its left is being pushed back.
-My bottom left incisor is about a quarter of a millimeter out. I’ve pushed it into its place but I’m worried about it going anywhere.
-I have a 1.5 millimeter crossbite and a 2-3 millimeter overbite. My orthodontist says it’s okay.
The reason I’m asking is because my orthodontist is fairly awful (won’t listen to any of my questions, refuses to tell me any of my options, refuses to even estimate my treatment time, refuses to do anything but complain about me, etc. etc.). She offers Invisalign, but she won’t tell me anything about it (just says I’m too young, although she hasn’t looked at anything but my front 8 teeth). I have 3 second molars with 1 coming in. Please help.

Alternatives To Jaw Surgery To Correct A Minor Overbite?

I met with an orthodontist about Invisalign. My teeth have crowding, and I have a slight overbite. My two choices were to have a tooth extracted to make room, and then do Invisalign OR have jaw surgery and then do Invisalign. Jaw surgery sounds ridiculously painful, not to mention expensive to compared to a single tooth extraction. My overbite is minor and certainly doesn’t pose any problems, however, I do feel that I would look better if my jaw wasn’t recessive. Does anyone know if an overbite can be corrected without surgery? Will the Invisalign help change it at all? Are there any devices I could use to correct it? I am meeting with him again next week, but just wanted to see if anyone knew the answers to these questions before. Thanks!

Any Cosmetic Alternatives To Braces For Someone With Bad Overbite?

I’m 14 and I have terrible overbite. I had metal braces for all throughout middle school but my orthodontist was an absolute idiot (I’m not kidding, even my current dentist thinks so) and all he did was suck out all our money and give me a jaw condition called TMJ.
Now I have to put braces back on and I don’t want to wear those terrible metal braces again, especially not entering sophmore year. Are there any cosmetic alternatives for someone with severe overbite? I really like invisalign but it’s only for those with mild overbite.
I’m seeing an orthodontist in a week but I would like some input before then.
