its the clear like invisalign ones and another thing i lost them friday night its now sunday and the orthodontist wont be in until monday.. will my teeth shift?

Hi all, I had my consultation at an orthodontist this past week, and the plan is to put regular braces on the bottom teeth, and maybe invisalign or maybe regular braces on the top teeth. It is not bad like a lot of spacing or torqued teeth, just crowded. And I am an adult. They told me cost for adult is between $6000-$7000 – it would come out around $6300. I was prepared to hear maybe $4000, but was shocked at this price. Anybody have experience with same situation and can advise me about this price? Thanks! I have been researching this all over the web and can’t get a concrete estimate. I have been told around 5000, but I need to know for sure so I can know if I can afford to get a loan. I can’t seem to find an insurance policy that includes orthodontics and all oral surgeries are excluded on the policies. I know the braces will cost 5000. I can get assistance from the hospital to cover their costs, but still need to pay the surgeon and anesthesiologist. I am hoping to get it done from Pakistan supposing there is even anInvisalign Certified Orthodontist there. Though, I’m presuming that there must be as the investor was in fact Pakistani and cosmetic surgery and dentistry is becoming rather common in Pakistan. My first appointment was an Invisalign consultation.. My orthodontist gave me a print out of how much the Invisalign would cost the print out said that the cost was 3,500 and my insurance covered 1,500 dollars plus a 500 coupon on all traditional braces and invisalign. My final cost was 1,500 Dollars. My second appointment I had a tooth extracted. Because I was told I was required to before getting invisalign. When I got home from my 2nd appointment , I decided to just go with Traditional Braces. So my next appointment will be on April 20th. And will be requesting Traditional Braces instead. Would the Traditional Braces cost less than the Invisalign? I have heard that invisalign braces cost $4000 to $10000, is this correct? Are there also other fees involved, for example if you have to see the orthodontist every month or so, is there a charge for that? I live in the dc area. Thanks. So i need braces. But just my top teeth. My bottom teeth are extremely straight, you would thing that i got braces. So i thought that Invisalign would be good for me. My family is a little tight on money so i also need to know how much they would cost for just the top teeth? We have insurance for orthodontist. I’ve been looking into getting Invisalign however Im not sure how all the payments work. I have my health insurance structured so that I pay for the full doctors visit until I reach my deductible minimum. However my dental insurance covers half of all orthodontics. I have read that Invisalign costs around $5k for most cases. Is that the total cost you have to pay, or do you have to pay additional costs each time you go to the orthodontist on top of the $5k? I want to get rid of braces metal braces and get invisalign. I want to know if it would cost extra to switch because I don’t even want to bring it up with my parents if it does because they’ll say I ask for to much. I kind of agree with them but I still don’t want to hear them tell me that. My orthodontist is qualified to do the invisalign, I’ve had my braces for about 7 months now. So would it cost extra if so how much more? |
