I am told I have a very simple, straight forward case. I am being quoted, in Clarksville, TN, $5100.00 for everything start to finish, including retainers once the braces are removed. The only thing seperate is 24.00 per appt. to maintain the retainers afterward. Is this a good price? Should I shop around?
I have no dental insurance that covers orthodontics (I don’t want any so please don’t pitch insurance in your answer). I know it’s difficult to give an informed answer. I know you need to be a dentist and see x-rays. I am just asking for an opinion… What do you think? Thanks!

I’m going to Vegas on July 10th and want to be fairly certain that I won’t be in any pain or held back from doing anything (smoking, drinking, eating) when I’m in Vegas. Since that’s about 4 weeks, from what I’ve read, its plenty of time. Also, I have Invisalign right now. I don’t want to wait till I’m done because the chance that my wisdom teeth can cause my Invisalign straightening to be negated, but should I be able to wear my trays after a few days? They only go to my last molar and are very tight fitting, so I don’t see how it would really hurt if I wait a few days after my extraction to start wearing them again. Any orthodontists with advice?

My orthodontist offered me $3000 for braces, and $3,700 for the new invisalign invisible braces…is that a good deal? what did you get charged?

Has anyone had invisalign braces? I’m 24 and my teeth have started to push forward causing the front ones to start to push backwards. My dentist suggested traditional braces but I’ve just read about invasalign that a few local orthodontists can fit.
Has anyone tried them and how much did it cost?

I need an experienced ortho for this question. i’ve gotten consultations from several orthodontist who say metal braces are the only option for me, but one insisted that invisalign would work well.
I have a gap on my top right side. Im missing tooth #5 (premolar), and the cuspid has moved completely to the right . Over time my midline has also shifted to my right side and I am developing small spaces inbetween teeth. I want to open the gap from the missing tooth so that I can put in an implant. But the gap is not small, and i only want to move the cuspid and the midline back over to the left. SO…
I dont want to pay more or get braces if I dont have to. Would Invisalign be good for this job, or is my only option traditional braces? Thanks!

My granddaughter is 10 and needs orthodontic work in Las Vegas.
Her mother has a dental plan but it doesn’t cover much.
Can anyone recommend a good plan that covers significant orthodontic work in Nevada?
Or can anyone recommend an insurance agent in Nevada that could handle this?

Hi , i am having a consultation in london with an orthodontist about invisalign. I have a few minor problems with my teeth, the are a little crowded, i do not require any extractions and have healthy teeth. Im 25 and i have no fillings so i think i will be an ideal candidate, my dentist said that veneers would ruin my healthy teeth so this would be a good option. However, i have one composite veneer covering the tooth next to my top front teeth, this was to bring it out further as it was really far back. what will happen if i have invisalign, will the veneer need to be removed to get a true image of the natural shape pf my teeth or replaced and because the tooth is now thicker than the rest will the result make it stick out, or does invisilign work by ensuring the front profile of your teeth is straight. I hope that makes sense. Also if anyone has experience and could tell me how much they payed and how long it took, i have also heard about invisalign express, what is this? and becuse i am a teacher i have to talk all day, how hard will this be if i have both bottom and top trays fitted??
thanks
De

My daughter has to have some orthodontic work done (a widening appliance to widen her top jaw, then a face mask to correct her underbite), and of course, the plan I have through work covers nothing. Are there plans out there that I can sign up for that will help substantially reduce the cost of this $2,700 procedure?
