What Does It Mean If The “center Line” Of Your Teeth (top And Bottom) Doesn’t Match?

I just started invisalign to straighten my teeth, but I’m doing express, which means its only for 5 months. The animation they showed me shows that my teeth will be straight when I’m done, but the center line (space between two top and two bottom teeth) won’t be exact. It will be improved, but not equal. The orthodontist told me it shouldn’t affect anything and was purely cosmetic. Also, he said fixing that would call for a much longer treatment and more $. So I’m perfectly fine with it as long as my teeth are straight, but what does that alignment mean?

Therapy is also frequently prescribed for practical reasons for example providing the patient having a functionally improved bite (occlusion).
