ive asked like a million retainer questions, but here goes. i wear top and bottom clear retainers (like invisalign) and the edge is long and curls out in some places, like behind my top left molars. can i trim them and with what? what precautions should i take? thank you much. i know you have to go back to the orthodontist every 8-10 weeks and then they give you new trays. do you have to pay for the new trays every time you visit them? or does that come out of the cost you payed for invisalign overall? The first appointment is for a consultation where they give you a quote on the cost and debrief you on how long the treatment would take, ect. Once you accept the quote you set up an appointment to be fitted for Invisalign. When that appointment is depends on how busy the orthodontist office is. From the time of the fitting they said it takes about 6 weeks to get them in to the office, when they get the Invisalign trays in they make another appointment with you where they give them to you, show you haw to use them and add any attachments to your teeth if necessary. |
