My husband recently finished orthodontics school but worked as a dentist while he was in orthodontics school so we have some money saved up and would like to build a nice little home for us and our brand new baby! We are currently living in an apartment. Here’s what we’d like our house to be like…
1 story. 3 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. Kitchen. Dining area. Family room and a small porch out back.
We are thinking of making it out of brick.
I would LOVE for it to be made out of stone and wood but I’m thinking that would make it cost a lot more am I right? And if so how much more?
We arent plannning on have a living room, is that a buy idea and will it make it harder to sell?
I’m just wondering what you would estimate a house like this costing? Thanks for you answers!

My orthodontist said that my braces will be off in about four months which means I will have braces for the first two months of grade nine. I was thinking about asking him to take off my braces now and switch to invisalign but I am not sure if it is worth it. Money is not that much of an issue but is it pointless to switch now?
