Just curious. My treatment is just under 2 years total in orthodontics. It’s costing me over $11,000 for braces alone(no insurance so I’ve been paying cash). Is this typical or am I being overcharged? I just started invisalign to straighten my teeth, but I’m doing express, which means its only for 5 months. The animation they showed me shows that my teeth will be straight when I’m done, but the center line (space between two top and two bottom teeth) won’t be exact. It will be improved, but not equal. The orthodontist told me it shouldn’t affect anything and was purely cosmetic. Also, he said fixing that would call for a much longer treatment and more $. So I’m perfectly fine with it as long as my teeth are straight, but what does that alignment mean? I’ve been wondering for a while, if it was possible to choose the orthodontic brackets you want? No i am not asking if you can choose the orthodontic BRACES you want, because i already know that you can (theres ceramic, metal/titanium, invisalign). I am 16 years old and i went to the orthodontist and said that i needed braces on the bottom teeth only. So they said that that mean i have to get braces on my perfectly straight top teeth. Should i get invisalign? My bottom teeth are a little crowded and that’s it. Okay so my teeth have a lot of problems, i used to have an under bite but now two of my teeth in the front are going back into an under bite, and my jaw is shifting slowly one way because of it. another problem is that i act, and i got a callback from an agency, and im not sure if they would want me because im getting braces (i didn’t ask them or tell them that im going to get braces yet). i asked my orthodontist today if i could get invisalign but he said my teeth has a bigger issue so invisalign wont work. he suggested clear braces, but apparently they stain. But i forgot to ask him about braces behind your teeth, ive heard that it works really well with people who have major problems with their teeth and needs to straighten them out. but ive also heard it hurts, and it could affect your speech? is this true? but anyway i found the site: http://www.lingualcare.com/ their called iBraces. I just want to know if this is good, and if i should get them, If anyone has had this , or if anyone could help me or give me advice i will truly appreciate it! Ok, hopefully you now what I mean by wax… orthodontist wax… I am hoping to get it done from Pakistan supposing there is even anInvisalign Certified Orthodontist there. Though, I’m presuming that there must be as the investor was in fact Pakistani and cosmetic surgery and dentistry is becoming rather common in Pakistan. |
