What Does It Mean If The “center Line” Of Your Teeth (top And Bottom) Doesn’t Match?
I just started invisalign to straighten my teeth, but I’m doing express, which means its only for 5 months. The animation they showed me shows that my teeth will be straight when I’m done, but the center line (space between two top and two bottom teeth) won’t be exact. It will be improved, but not equal. The orthodontist told me it shouldn’t affect anything and was purely cosmetic. Also, he said fixing that would call for a much longer treatment and more $. So I’m perfectly fine with it as long as my teeth are straight, but what does that alignment mean?

Generally means that you either have an overbite or underbite
It doesn’t “mean” anything, it just isn’t exactly matching up.
No big deal. It’s called a “midline shift” or “midline deviation”
of however many millimeters it’s off center. Don’t worry
about it. It just means it isn’t perfectly lined up.
It prolly means you will have an overbite. It’s not that big of a deal, just when you close your mouth completely, your top or bottom teeth may stick out a bit farther. I have one. When I was in elementary school, they tried to tell me it would cause speech problems, but it did nothing of the sort.
