I’m 21 years old and I have two canine teeth, like vampire fangs, they stick way out and it’s gross. I don’t even smile. I used to have a “welfare” medical insurance in washington state.. and I went in to get it taken care of, and my dentist referred me to an orthodontist and they didn’t want to take care of it because they considered it “cosmetic”. (my parents didn’t want to help either.)
I want to get invisalign if possible. My husband is an E-2 in the army.

Being under 23 United Concordia might consider paying up to $1500 towards the cost of the braces. Anything more than that will be out of your own pocket as $1500 is the max per dependent.
If you are paying for the insurance yourself, there will be a waiting period before it will cover braces.
